Vilon (Lys-Glu) is a synthetic dipeptide studied for its activity on thymocyte proliferation and signal transduction in cell-culture and rodent research models. Khavinson et al. (Bulletin of Experimental Biology and Medicine, 2002; PMID 12420072) documented Vilon's comitogenic effect on mouse thymocyte proliferation via the sphingomyelin signaling pathway. Description
Vilon (Lys-Glu) is a short synthetic peptide studied for its activity on thymocyte proliferation and differentiation markers in cell culture, and for its effects on stress-response measures in rodent models. Research has examined its role along the sphingomyelin signal transduction pathway in mouse thymocytes and its interaction with markers of protein synthesis in cultured human thymic tissue. The way a dispatcher relays a single signal down a chain of command, Vilon is studied for its influence on signaling cascades within thymocyte and neuroendocrine cell populations.
Raikhlin et al. (Bulletin of Experimental Biology and Medicine, 2004; PMID 15455093) documented Vilon's activity on argyrophilic protein expression in the nucleolar organizer regions of human thymocytes and thymic epithelial cells in coculture, along with its mitogenic effect on thymocyte transformation into proliferating blast cells. Khavinson et al. (Bulletin of Experimental Biology and Medicine, 2002; PMID 12420072) studied Vilon's comitogenic activity on mouse thymocyte proliferation and its stimulatory effect on sphingomyelinase activity within the sphingomyelin signal transduction pathway. Koplik et al. (Rossiiskii Fiziologicheskii Zhurnal Imeni I.M. Sechenova, 2002; PMID 12587272) examined Vilon in a rat model of emotional stress, recording open-field behavior, c-Fos expression in the paraventricular hypothalamus, and adrenal and thymic tissue measures following intraperitoneal delivery.

Shipping & Storage
Shipping
Orders ship within 24 hours. Delivered via USPS Priority or standard FedEx unless expedited shipping is selected at checkout. Tracking is emailed on dispatch and mirrored in your account.
In-transit handling
Lyophilized vials are shelf-stable and ship at ambient temperature. Storage in our warehouse is cooled; shipment does not require refrigeration.
Long-term storage
Lyophilized vials are shelf-stable at ambient temperature; refrigeration (2–8°C) extends shelf life. Refer to the batch-specific Certificate of Analysis for material-specific storage guidance. Once reconstituted, follow the storage instructions on the batch COA. Not for human or animal consumption.
Returns
Because these are research-grade biologics, we cannot accept returns on opened vials. Damaged-in-transit shipments are replaced at no cost within 7 days of delivery.
