Vesugen (Lys-Glu-Asp) is a synthetic tripeptide studied for its interaction with proliferation-associated gene promoters in cultured human vascular and stem cells. Khavinson et al. (Advances in Gerontology, 2014; PMID 25051766) documented Vesugen's contact with a core MKI67 gene promoter sequence alongside Ki-67 changes in vascular endothelial cell culture. Description
Vesugen (Lys-Glu-Asp) is a short synthetic peptide studied for its interaction with proliferation- and aging-associated gene promoters in cultured human cell systems. Research has examined its binding to regulatory DNA regions using molecular docking methods, alongside laboratory measures of cell proliferation markers in vascular endothelial and skin fibroblast cultures. The way a key fits into one specific lock, Vesugen is studied for sequence-specific contact with a defined promoter region of the MKI67 gene.
Khavinson et al. (Advances in Gerontology, 2014; PMID 25051766) studied Vesugen's activity on the proliferation-associated protein Ki-67 in vascular endothelial cell cultures alongside tissue-specific cell cultures derived from young and aged animals, and used molecular docking to characterize Vesugen's contact with a core promoter sequence within the MKI67 gene. Lin'kova et al. (Bulletin of Experimental Biology and Medicine, 2016; PMID 27259496) examined Vesugen among a panel of short peptides for activity on proliferation, apoptosis, and matrix-remodeling markers in aging skin fibroblast cultures, observing inhibition of MMP-9 synthesis and increased Ki-67 and CD98hc expression. Ashapkin et al. (Molecular Biology Reports, 2020; PMID 32399807) investigated Vesugen's influence on IGF1, FOXO1, TNKS2, and NFκB gene expression in aging human mesenchymal stem cell cultures.

Shipping & Storage
Shipping
Orders ship within 24 hours. Delivered via USPS Priority or standard FedEx unless expedited shipping is selected at checkout. Tracking is emailed on dispatch and mirrored in your account.
In-transit handling
Lyophilized vials are shelf-stable and ship at ambient temperature. Storage in our warehouse is cooled; shipment does not require refrigeration.
Long-term storage
Lyophilized vials are shelf-stable at ambient temperature; refrigeration (2–8°C) extends shelf life. Refer to the batch-specific Certificate of Analysis for material-specific storage guidance. Once reconstituted, follow the storage instructions on the batch COA. Not for human or animal consumption.
Returns
Because these are research-grade biologics, we cannot accept returns on opened vials. Damaged-in-transit shipments are replaced at no cost within 7 days of delivery.
