Pinealon is a synthetic tripeptide, Glu-Asp-Arg, from the Khavinson short-peptide bioregulator family. Structural chemistry studies have examined how the sequence interacts with DNA (Silanteva et al., 2019, PMID 30762356), and cell-culture research has documented associated changes in gene expression in cultured brain cortex cells. Lyophilized powder, research-grade. For Research Use Only. Not for human consumption. (55 words)

Description
Pinealon is a synthetic tripeptide, Glu-Asp-Arg, developed within the Khavinson short-peptide bioregulator research program. Structural biophysics work has examined how the Glu-Asp-Arg sequence interacts with DNA at the molecular level, while cell-culture studies have investigated the peptide's association with gene-expression changes. Much like a key that fits a narrow set of locks, the tripeptide's small size lets it interact with specific nucleotide sequences rather than broad cellular machinery.
Silanteva et al. (2019), publishing in The Journal of Physical Chemistry B, used spectral, NMR, viscosimetry, and molecular dynamics methods to characterize how the Glu-Asp-Arg peptide interacts with the DNA double helix, documenting partial penetration into the major groove and an ion-dependent binding effect. Khavinson et al. (2014) investigated Glu-Asp-Arg and a related tripeptide in cultured aging brain cortex cells, documenting peptide-associated changes in serotonin-pathway gene expression identified through molecular docking analysis. Mendzheritsky et al. (2015) studied Pinealon alongside a related peptide preparation in aged-rat models of hypoxia and hypothermia, examining behavioral and neurochemical markers.

Shipping & Storage
Shipping
Orders ship within 24 hours. Delivered via USPS Priority or standard FedEx unless expedited shipping is selected at checkout. Tracking is emailed on dispatch and mirrored in your account.
In-transit handling
Lyophilized vials are shelf-stable and ship at ambient temperature. Storage in our warehouse is cooled; shipment does not require refrigeration.
Long-term storage
Lyophilized vials are shelf-stable at ambient temperature; refrigeration (2–8°C) extends shelf life. Refer to the batch-specific Certificate of Analysis for material-specific storage guidance. Once reconstituted, follow the storage instructions on the batch COA. Not for human or animal consumption.
Returns
Because these are research-grade biologics, we cannot accept returns on opened vials. Damaged-in-transit shipments are replaced at no cost within 7 days of delivery.
