N-Acetyl Epitalon Amidate is a modified analog of the synthetic tetrapeptide Epitalon. Research on the parent peptide has examined its effect on telomerase activity and telomere length in cultured human fibroblasts (Khavinson et al., 2003, Bull Exp Biol Med, PMID 12937682). Description
N-Acetyl Epitalon Amidate is a modified analog of Epitalon (Ala-Glu-Asp-Gly), a synthetic tetrapeptide first characterized by Khavinson and colleagues at the St. Petersburg Institute of Bioregulation and Gerontology. The N-acetyl and C-terminal amidate modifications are structural changes intended to alter peptide stability relative to the parent sequence. Research on the parent Epitalon peptide has focused on telomerase activity and gene transcription in cultured human cells.
Khavinson et al., 2003 documented that Epithalon peptide addition to telomerase-negative human fetal fibroblast cultures induced expression of the telomerase catalytic subunit and telomere elongation (Bull Exp Biol Med, PMID 12937682). A follow-up study by Khavinson et al., 2004 found that Epithalon-treated human fetal fibroblasts underwent additional population doublings beyond the culture's typical replicative limit (Bull Exp Biol Med, PMID 15455129). Khavinson et al., 2003 also proposed, based on conformational analysis, that the Epithalon tetrapeptide binds identified nucleotide sequences in the promoter regions of specific genes, including telomerase (Bull Exp Biol Med, PMID 14666197).

Shipping & Storage
Shipping
Orders ship within 24 hours. Delivered via USPS Priority or standard FedEx unless expedited shipping is selected at checkout. Tracking is emailed on dispatch and mirrored in your account.
In-transit handling
Lyophilized vials are shelf-stable and ship at ambient temperature. Storage in our warehouse is cooled; shipment does not require refrigeration.
Long-term storage
Lyophilized vials are shelf-stable at ambient temperature; refrigeration (2–8°C) extends shelf life. Refer to the batch-specific Certificate of Analysis for material-specific storage guidance. Once reconstituted, follow the storage instructions on the batch COA. Not for human or animal consumption.
Returns
Because these are research-grade biologics, we cannot accept returns on opened vials. Damaged-in-transit shipments are replaced at no cost within 7 days of delivery.
