pep-HCG
Human chorionic gonadotropin (hCG) is a placental glycoprotein hormone that activates the LH/chorionic gonadotropin receptor shared with luteinizing hormone. Casarini et al. (2018, Endocrine Reviews) reviewed hCG's distinct cAMP/PKA-mediated steroidogenic signaling in ovarian cell research models. Research-grade, lyophilized. For Research Use Only. Not for human consumption.

Description
Human chorionic gonadotropin (hCG) is a placental glycoprotein hormone that shares its receptor — the luteinizing hormone/chorionic gonadotropin receptor (LHCGR) — with luteinizing hormone (LH), despite roughly 85% sequence identity between the two beta subunits. Casarini et al. (2018) reviewed the distinct signaling cascades activated by hCG versus LH at this shared receptor, noting hCG's pronounced cAMP/protein kinase A-mediated steroidogenic signaling in ovarian cell research models. Matzkin et al. (2013) documented that hCG stimulation of Leydig cells activated a calcium-dependent potassium channel alongside increased testosterone production in an experimental model. Munier et al. (2021) used hCG/LH receptor signaling assays to characterize an endocrine-disrupting compound's effects in vitro.
Casarini L et al. (2018, Endocrine Reviews) — a comprehensive review of the evolution, biochemistry, and receptor pathophysiology distinguishing LH and hCG action. Matzkin ME et al. (2013, Molecular and Cellular Endocrinology) — a calcium-activated potassium channel was identified as part of the LH/hCG signaling cascade in testicular Leydig cells. Munier M et al. (2021, Archives of Toxicology) — hCG/LH receptor signaling assays were used to characterize in vitro effects of an endocrine-disrupting compound.

Lab reports
We independently test selected batches and publish those reports. Not every batch has one, and this strength and origin does not have a published report right now. You can read how certificates of analysis work, or browse every report we have published.
Shipping & Storage
Shipping
Orders ship within 24 hours. Delivered via USPS Priority or standard FedEx unless expedited shipping is selected at checkout. Tracking is emailed on dispatch and mirrored in your account.
In-transit handling
Lyophilized vials are shelf-stable and ship at ambient temperature. Storage in our warehouse is cooled; shipment does not require refrigeration.
Long-term storage
Lyophilized vials are shelf-stable at ambient temperature; refrigeration (2–8°C) extends shelf life. Where a published Certificate of Analysis exists for your strength and origin, it is on the COA tab. Not for human or animal consumption.
Returns
Because these are research-grade biologics, we cannot accept returns on opened vials. Damaged-in-transit shipments are replaced at no cost within 7 days of delivery.
Frequently asked
We independently test selected batches at a third-party lab and publish those certificates of analysis. Not every batch has one. The COA tab on each product shows whether the strength and origin you picked has a published report.
