Gonadorelin acetate is a synthetic decapeptide identical in sequence to gonadotropin-releasing hormone (GnRH), engaging GnRH receptors on pituitary gonadotrope cells. Sun et al. (Chinese Medical Journal, 2015; PMID 26365959) examined the gonadorelin stimulation test in a study of adolescents with delayed puberty, measuring luteinizing hormone and follicle-stimulating hormone response profiles. Description
Gonadorelin acetate is a synthetic replica of gonadotropin-releasing hormone (GnRH), the hypothalamic decapeptide that engages GnRH receptors on pituitary gonadotrope cells. It has been characterized in the literature through physicochemical and bioassay comparison against international reference preparations, establishing its identity and potency relative to other synthetic LH-releasing hormone preparations. The way a single relay signal can trigger a chain of downstream switches, gonadorelin is studied in research models for its capacity to trigger pulsatile release of luteinizing hormone (LH) and follicle-stimulating hormone (FSH) from the pituitary gland.
Storring et al. (Journal of Endocrinology, 1982; PMID 6752326) characterized the World Health Organization's International Reference Preparation of gonadorelin using physicochemical analysis, multiple bioassay methods, and immunoassay, establishing a reference standard for comparing synthetic LH-releasing hormone preparations. Sun et al. (Chinese Medical Journal, 2015; PMID 26365959) examined the gonadorelin stimulation test in a cohort of adolescents with delayed puberty, measuring luteinizing hormone and follicle-stimulating hormone response profiles as part of a study characterizing hypothalamic-pituitary-gonadal axis diagnostic methodology. Martínez et al. (Canadian Veterinary Journal, 2003; PMID 12650040) compared three gonadorelin formulations in cattle, examining luteinizing hormone release kinetics, ovulation timing, and follicular wave emergence across the treatment groups.

Shipping & Storage
Shipping
Orders ship within 24 hours. Delivered via USPS Priority or standard FedEx unless expedited shipping is selected at checkout. Tracking is emailed on dispatch and mirrored in your account.
In-transit handling
Lyophilized vials are shelf-stable and ship at ambient temperature. Storage in our warehouse is cooled; shipment does not require refrigeration.
Long-term storage
Lyophilized vials are shelf-stable at ambient temperature; refrigeration (2–8°C) extends shelf life. Refer to the batch-specific Certificate of Analysis for material-specific storage guidance. Once reconstituted, follow the storage instructions on the batch COA. Not for human or animal consumption.
Returns
Because these are research-grade biologics, we cannot accept returns on opened vials. Damaged-in-transit shipments are replaced at no cost within 7 days of delivery.
