CJC-1295 is a synthetic analog of growth hormone-releasing hormone (GHRH) modified with a Drug Affinity Complex (DAC) — a covalent albumin-binding moiety studied for extending the peptide's circulating duration relative to native GHRH. Ionescu and Frohman (2006) documented that a single CJC-1295 administration increased trough and mean growth hormone secretion while preserving pulsatile secretion patterns in healthy adult men. Alba et al. (2006) reported that once-daily administration normalized growth in GHRH-knockout mice, and Sackmann-Sala et al. (2009) examined downstream serum protein changes following CJC-1295 administration in normal adult subjects.
