Bronchogen (Ala-Glu-Asp-Leu) is a synthetic tetrapeptide documented in primary literature as tissue-specifically stimulating expression of differentiation factors CXCL12 and Hoxa3 in cultured bronchial epithelial cells, with more pronounced effects in aged cell cultures (Khavinson et al., Bull Exp Biol Med, 2012; PMID 22808515). Research-grade material, supplier-vetted supply. For Research Use Only. Not for human consumption.
For laboratory research use only · Not for human or veterinary use.
Description
Bronchogen (Ala-Glu-Asp-Leu) is a synthetic short-chain tetrapeptide bioregulator studied for its interaction with tissue-specific gene expression pathways. It has been documented in primary literature as a ligand that binds DNA and modulates expression of differentiation-associated transcription factors in bronchial epithelial cell culture. The way a key is cut to match a single lock, Bronchogen's short sequence is thought to interact with a narrow, tissue-specific set of regulatory targets in bronchial cells.
Monaselidze et al. (Bull Exp Biol Med, 2011; PMID 21240358) used differential scanning microcalorimetry to characterize bronchogen as a DNA-stabilizing ligand, documenting a 3.1°C increase in the melting temperature of calf thymus and mouse liver DNA across a defined concentration range. Khavinson et al. (Bull Exp Biol Med, 2012; PMID 22808515) documented that bronchogen tissue-specifically stimulated expression of the differentiation factors CXCL12 and Hoxa3 in cultured human embryonic bronchial epithelial cells, with a more pronounced effect observed in late-passage (aged) cultures than in early-passage cultures. Kuzubova et al. (Bull Exp Biol Med, 2015; PMID 26468022) documented that a one-month course of tetrapeptide Bronchogen administration was associated with restoration of ciliated-cell populations and bronchial epithelial architecture in a rat model of nitrogen-dioxide-induced obstructive lung pathology, alongside changes in secretory IgA and bronchoalveolar cytokine profile.

Specifications
Shipping & Storage
Shipping
Orders ship within 24 hours. Delivered via USPS Priority or standard FedEx unless expedited shipping is selected at checkout. Tracking is emailed on dispatch and mirrored in your account.
In-transit handling
Lyophilized vials are shelf-stable and ship at ambient temperature. Storage in our warehouse is cooled; shipment does not require refrigeration.
Long-term storage
Lyophilized vials are shelf-stable at ambient temperature; refrigeration (2–8°C) extends shelf life. Refer to the batch-specific Certificate of Analysis for material-specific storage guidance. Once reconstituted, follow the storage instructions on the batch COA. Not for human or animal consumption.
Returns
Because these are research-grade biologics, we cannot accept returns on opened vials. Damaged-in-transit shipments are replaced at no cost within 7 days of delivery.
