Bio-2t is a fatty-acid modified synthetic peptide engineered to engage two distinct cell-surface receptors within the same signaling family. Coskun et al. (Mol Metab, 2018) characterized its receptor-binding activity using in vitro signaling assays in cell lines expressing recombinant and endogenous incretin receptors (PMID 30473097). Description
Bio-2t is a synthetic peptide analog built on a modified incretin-hormone backbone and derivatized with a fatty-acid moiety for extended plasma residence. Unlike single-receptor incretin analogs, Bio-2t's sequence was engineered to engage two distinct cell-surface receptors within the same signaling family — the way a universal remote is built to operate more than one device rather than a single unit. Researchers have characterized its receptor-binding activity using in vitro signaling assays and structural methods.
Coskun et al. (Mol Metab, 2018) described the design of this fatty-acid modified peptide and characterized its receptor-signaling activity in vitro using cell lines expressing recombinant and endogenous incretin receptors (PMID 30473097). Choi et al. (J Chromatogr B, 2026) developed and validated an LC-MS/MS analytical method for quantifying the peptide in rat plasma, applying it to a pharmacokinetic study characterizing the compound's plasma elimination half-life in rats (PMID 41197390). Khalil et al. (BMC Chem, 2026) developed a stability-indicating HPLC method for quantifying the compound under acidic, basic, oxidative, and photolytic stress conditions (PMID 41588418).

Specifications
Shipping & Storage
Shipping
Orders ship within 24 hours. Delivered via USPS Priority or standard FedEx unless expedited shipping is selected at checkout. Tracking is emailed on dispatch and mirrored in your account.
In-transit handling
Lyophilized vials are shelf-stable and ship at ambient temperature. Storage in our warehouse is cooled; shipment does not require refrigeration.
Long-term storage
Lyophilized vials are shelf-stable at ambient temperature; refrigeration (2–8°C) extends shelf life. Refer to the batch-specific Certificate of Analysis for material-specific storage guidance. Once reconstituted, follow the storage instructions on the batch COA. Not for human or animal consumption.
Returns
Because these are research-grade biologics, we cannot accept returns on opened vials. Damaged-in-transit shipments are replaced at no cost within 7 days of delivery.
