pep-CER
Cerebrolysin is a porcine brain-derived peptide preparation studied in neuroscience research for its interaction with neurotrophic-factor-associated signaling pathways in models of neuronal injury. Masliah and Díez-Tejedor (Drugs of Today, 2012; PMID 22514792) reviewed this activity across in vitro and animal-model systems of stroke and dementia research. For Research Use Only. Not for human consumption.

Description
Cerebrolysin is a proprietary peptide preparation produced by standardized enzymatic breakdown of porcine brain proteins, yielding a defined mixture of low-molecular-weight peptides and free amino acids. It has been characterized in the literature as engaging neurotrophic-factor-associated signaling pathways in cell and animal-model systems. The way a relay team passes a baton along a fixed sequence, Cerebrolysin peptide fractions are described in research as interacting with signaling steps downstream of endogenous neurotrophic factors in laboratory models of neuronal injury and repair.
Masliah and Díez-Tejedor (Drugs of Today, 2012; PMID 22514792) reviewed pharmacology data describing Cerebrolysin's interaction with neurotrophic-factor-associated pathways across in vitro and animal-model systems, including calpain inhibition and modulation of GSK-3β/CDK5 signaling in dementia and stroke research models. Rockenstein et al. (Stem Cell Research, 2015; PMID 26209890) investigated Cerebrolysin as an adjunct to neural stem cell grafting in an APP transgenic mouse model, documenting increased graft survival alongside elevated BDNF and furin immunoreactivity in the treated grafts. Kobayashi et al. (Frontiers in Neurology, 2025; PMID 41180520) designed a randomized, open-label, blinded-endpoint pilot trial (CLINCH) to evaluate the safety and feasibility of cerebrolysin treatment following primary intracerebral hemorrhage, with mortality and functional-independence endpoints planned at 90 days.

Lab reports
We independently test selected batches and publish those reports. Not every batch has one, and this strength and origin does not have a published report right now. You can read how certificates of analysis work, or browse every report we have published.
Shipping & Storage
Shipping
Orders ship within 24 hours. Delivered via USPS Priority or standard FedEx unless expedited shipping is selected at checkout. Tracking is emailed on dispatch and mirrored in your account.
In-transit handling
Lyophilized vials are shelf-stable and ship at ambient temperature. Storage in our warehouse is cooled; shipment does not require refrigeration.
Long-term storage
Lyophilized vials are shelf-stable at ambient temperature; refrigeration (2–8°C) extends shelf life. Where a published Certificate of Analysis exists for your strength and origin, it is on the COA tab. Not for human or animal consumption.
Returns
Because these are research-grade biologics, we cannot accept returns on opened vials. Damaged-in-transit shipments are replaced at no cost within 7 days of delivery.
Frequently asked
We independently test selected batches at a third-party lab and publish those certificates of analysis. Not every batch has one. The COA tab on each product shows whether the strength and origin you picked has a published report.
